Man held for violating child in Sirajganj

Police have arrested a man for violating a 10-year-old child in Sadar Upazila of Sirajganj district.

Locals caught Abul Kalam from Khoksabari Politechnic Institute and Horticulture Centre on Saturday evening while fleeing after violating the girl.

They, later, handed him over to police.

Sadar police SI M Shariful Islam confirmed the matter on Sunday.

He also said the victim was sent to hospital for medical test.
