COVID-19 deaths hit to 6,194 in Bangladesh



Bangladesh's coronavirus deaths now stands at 6,194 on Sunday with 21 more fatalities in last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 1,837 fresh cases were reported, taking the total infection number to 4,32,333.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter through a press release signed by Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of DGHS, this afternoon.

Some 1,693 more corona patients made recovery from the disease in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery number to 3,49,542.

Of the today's dead, 17 were male and four were female. All of them died at different hospitals across the country.

Bangladesh reported its first coronavirus cases on March 8 and the first death from the virus on March 18.
