Man run over by truck in Rajshahi

A man was run over by a truck at Chandrima Police Station area in Rajshahi city on Saturday morning.

Deceased Mahbub Alam Bala, 45, was a resident of Bagrul village under Ishwardi upazila of Pabna district.

Locals  said a truck ran over him when he was crossing a road in front of the office of Chief Engineer of  Railway west zone, leaving him dead on the spot.

The police station sub-inspector Braj Gopal Karmakar confirmed the matter.
