Ex-MP Mohammad Ali dies

Valiant Freedom Fighter and former lawmaker of Cox’s Bazar-4 constituency Prof Mohammad Ali died at Cox’s Bazar District Sadar Hospital early today.

He was 73.

Ali, a former acting president of Cox’s Bazar district Awami League, left behind his wife, three sons, one daughter, a host of
relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock and deep sorrow at the death of Mohammad Ali.

In a message of condolence, the premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
