IU appoints 3 new deans

The authorities of Islamic University, Kushtia on Wednesday appointed three new deans .

Professor Mohammad Abdus Samad of Applied Nutrition and Food Technology department was made the Biological Sciences faculty dean while Professor Raqiba Yesmin of Public Administration department was appointed as Social Sciences faculty dean and Mizanur Rahman of Mathematics department as Sciences faculty dean.

IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif said that Vice-Chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam appointed them to the posts for two years.

The new appointments came as the tenure of previous deans ended , he added.
