Two siblings were killed in a road accident in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh early Monday.
Deceased Moniruzzaman,33, and Jubaidul Islam,30, were the sons of Noor Islam of Sherpur district.
Police said a pick-up van hit hard a truck from behind in Dhali crossing area at Seed Store Bazar on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 3:30am, leaving three pick-up passengers critically injured.
They were whisked of to the upazila health complex where the two brothers wwre declared dead.
Bhaluka Highway Police in-charge Taimur Ali said Tk 313,700in cash and a cheque of Tk 1 lakh were found in the pick-up van after searching.
The money and cheque were handed over to he victims' family, he added.
