Minor boy drowns in Dighinala

A minor boy drowned in a pond in Dighinala upazila of Khagrachhari district on Sunday.

A class III student of NO 1 Kobakhali Govt Primary School, Mohammad Fahim,8, was the son of Mohammad Ali, a resident of South Milonpur.

Local sources said Fahim drowned in a pond near Jalalabad Jam'e Mosque when he was playing on its bank in the morning.

His friends spotted the floating body after few hours.

Fahim was declared dead at Dighinala Health Complex.
