2 drug traders held in Ishwardi train

Police have detained two drug traders alongwith phensedyl syrup from Dhalarchar Express Train in Ishwardi of Pabna.

Ishward Railway Jungtion Police raided the train at 7pm on Wednesday night and detained Jewel,28, of Rangpur and Sumon Sarkar,25, of Pabna.

Some 264 bottles of phensedyl syrup werealso recovered form their possessions.

A case has been filed under Narcotics Control Act.

They were sent to jail on Thursday following a court order.
