Syed Nazrul's death annivarsery observed in Kishoreganj

The 45th death anniversary of Syed Nazrul Islam, one of the four national leaders killed inside the Dhaka Central Jail in 1975, was observed on Tuesday in his home district Kishoreganj.

Marking the day, party and national flags were hoisted in the district Awami League office and floral wreaths were placed at the portraits of the four national leaders in the morning.

Later, a brief discussion was held where district Awami League president spoke.

In the afternoon, doa mahfil and quarankhwani were held at different mosques including Beerdampara Saheb Bari Jam'e Mosque in the village home of the national leader.
