Durga Puja ends amid festivity in Pabna

Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of Hindu religion, has been celebrated with immersion of idols of the Goddess Durga in the Padma River in Pabna.

The five-day festival came to an end on Monday where devotees gave farewell to the goddess Durga by offering flowers to her feet and sought her blessings through playing of drums; praying and chanting of hymns.
