Fire at BDBL Bhaban

Fire Service and Civil Defence duty office Mahfuz Riben said the fire originated in the 17 floor of the building at 6:50am.

Being informed, four units of the fire fighters rushed to the scene and doused the blaze around 8am after about one hour of frantic efforts.

However, the reason behind the fire could not be known yet, he said.
