Rohingya boy killed in landmine explosion

A14-year-old Rohingya boy was killed in a landmine explosion at Amtali area of Naikhongchhari border in Bandarban.

Md Jober was the son of Md Emdad Hossain at Kutupalong Rohingya camp under Ukhia upazila in Cox’s Bazar district.

The explosion took place at No Man's Land near the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) pillar on Friday evening when Emdad along with his two sons went there.

On information, police and members of BGB recovered the body.

Ghumdhum police outpost in-charge Inspector (Investigation) Delwar Hossain said the body was sent to Cox’s Bazar Hospital morgue.
