Weather to become normal as deep depression turns into land depression, Met Office

The deep depression over Northwest Bay and adjoining area moved northeastwards and crossed West Bengal– Khulna coast during 12:00noon – 6:00pm on Friday, said Bangladesh Meteorological Office on Friday night.
It now lies over Faridpur–Madaripur as a land depression.
Meteorologist Abdur Rahman said the deep depression started crossing the West Bengal-Khulna coast from 12:00noon on Friday and it finally crossed by the evening.
Later, the deep depression became weak and turned into a land depression. It was lying on Faridpur-Madaripur region at night.
He said the weather would become normal from Saturday.
South-west monsoon has withdrawn from north-western part of the Bangladesh and conditions are favourable for further withdrawn from remaining part of Bangladesh.
Steep pressure gradient persists over North Bay. Monsoon is strong over North Bay.
Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattrogram and Sylhet divisions with heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may fall by (1-3) °C over the country.
