Man held with hemp in Kurigram

Police arrested a man along with five kgs of hemp at Phulbari upazila in Kurigram district early Friday.

Detained Faridul Islam alias Dulu, 50, is a resident of Anantapur Matherpar village in the upazila.

Police said on information, police raided Dulu’s house at early hours and arrested him with hemp.

Phulbari Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Razib Kumar Rai said a case was filed with the Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act.
