NSU students call off movement

The agitating students of North South University (NSU) have withdrawn their protest programme following assurance by the authorities to give 20 per cent waiver on tuition fees.
The demonstrators from a gathering in front of of the campus on Wednesday announced to go to the classrooms tomorrow (Thursday).
"We've decided to call off our movement keeping faith on our teachers as the varsity authorities have accepted our demands partially," said Anika Tasnim, a student who also joined the protest.
She also informed that all the general students have agreed to withdraw the movement so that it cannot be used for any political party interest.
The NSU authorities on Tuesday announced 20 per cent waiver of tuition fees for the current semester (Fall-2020) amid the ongoing protest of the students.
Earlier on October 18, students of the private university went on movement demanding 20 percent waiver of their tution fees and activities fee.
