Police arrested a 14-year-old boy at Sadar upazila in Satkhira district on Tuesday morning for allegedly violating a class II girl.
Arrested Shihab Sarder, 14, a resident of Shimulbaria Purba Para, is a class V student at a local Madrasa.
Satkhira Sadar Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Asaduzzaman said he took the girl to home when she was playing outsided. Later, he violated the girl.
Hearing screaming, locals rushed there, rescued the victim and caught Shihab.
The victim was sent to Satkhira Sadar Hospital for medical test.
The victim’s family filed a case with the Police Station.
