Nagorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna has issued a seven-day ultimatum to the government to take action against those who attacked while attending a programme in Narayanganj's Rupgnaj on Monday which left 30 injured.

"Every area under the Dhaka city would be blocked if the attackers of Narayanganj's rally are not brought to justice within seven days," warned Manna while addressing a protest rally in front of the National Press Club on Tuesday.

Raising doubt on the government's justice regarding the attack" Manna further said, “Will they take action? They will not do it. Yesterday or day before yesterday left-wing parties blocked Paltan intersection. We will block the every area of the city seven or 15 days later.”
