COVID-19: 14 more deaths, 1,209 cases reported

Bangladesh's COVID-19 death tally rose to 5,660 on Sunday with 14 more deaths in last 24 hours.

During this time, the infection number reached 3,88,569 as 1,274 more virus patients were detected after testing 11,866 samples. 

Of the deceased, 12 were male while two were female.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter through a press release signed by Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of DGHS, this afternoon.

With the recovery of 1,674 patients in the past 24 hours, the total recovered number stands at 3,3,972.





Bangladesh reported its first coronavirus cases on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
