18,228 patients cured from COVID-19 in Rajshahi division
A total of 18,228 patients have, so far, recovered from COVID-19 in all eight districts of Rajshahi division with 91 recoveries afresh in the last 24 hours on Saturday morning.
At the same time, a total of 20,124 people have so far been infected with the deadly COVID-19 in the division as 24 new cases detected in five districts here on Friday.
Dr Gopendra Nath Acharya, Divisional Director of Health confirmed the information in a COVID-19 related daily report in Rajshahi division on Saturday noon.
With the new detected cases, the district-wise break-up of the reported COVID-19 cases now stands at 4,979 in Rajshahi including 3,650 in city, 776 in Chapainawabganj, 1,303 in Naogaon, 999 in Natore, 1,097 in Joypurhat, 7,657 in Bogura, 2,172 in Sirajganj and 1,141 in Pabna districts.
Dr Nath said the whereabouts of the persons, who came in contact with COVID-19 patients, were identified and they were asked to remain in home isolation so that the virus cannot spread further.
