Bangladeshis among 110 illegal migrants held in Malaysia



Malaysia immigration department arrested 110 undocumented migrants including four Bangladeshis on Wednesday.

The arrest was made during a drive in different farms, factories and farmlands in Raub district in the country.

Malaysian Immigration department Director-General Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud confirmed the matter to media.

He said among the arrested migrant workers, the highest number of 94 is from Indonesia, eight from Myanmar, four from Bangladesh and the rest from Pakistan.

Charges against them are underway under the Immigration Act.
