Woman’s throat-slit body found in Dhaka

Police on Sunday noon recovered the throat-slit body of a housewife form her house in Dhaka’s Keraniganj upazila.

The deceased was identified as Fatema, wife of Abdus Samad, a resident of Zianagar area in the upazila.

Husband of the deceased said he found his wife’s throat-slit body after returning home from his shop at Kholamora Bazar on Saturday midnight.

Keraniganj Model Police Station OC Kazi Moinul Islam said the recovered the body and a team of CID visited the spot.

The body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital morgue.

Father of the deceased lodged a case with the police station in this connection.
