Youth found dead in Cox's Bazar

Police recovered the body of a young man from a canal in Pekua upazila of Cox's Bazar district on Tuesday morning.

Deceased Azim Uddin, 22, was the son of Muhammad Shaker Ullah, a resident of Sonaichhari Natunpara village in the upazila.

Local sources said Azim went out of the house on Sunday night to catch fish. But, he did not return home at the night.

Later, locals spotted the floating body in the canal in the area this morning.

Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue, said Pekua Police Station officer in-charge Kamrul Azam.

No injury mark was found on the body, he added.
