2-month-old child rescued from Dhaka bus counter

A two-month-old minor baby was rescued from a bus counter in capital's Shahbagh area on Sunday night.

One Harun rescued the child from a desk at the counter in front of BIRDEM Hospital and took to Ramna Police Station. Later, the child was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital from the police station.

Harun wants to adopt the baby.

The police station senior assistant commissioner SM Shamim said the child will be handed over to someone through legal procedure. The kid is doing well, he added.
