Actor and Member of Parliament from Dhaka-17 constituency Akbar Hossain Pathan Faruque will be flown to Singapore on Sunday (September 13) for better treatment due to serious deterioration of his health.
The actor himself told about the matter on Wednesday.
A board meeting of physicians was held at Evercare Hospital on Wednesday to monitor the physical condition of Faruque.
Hospital sources said that physicians think that Faruque has been suffering from tuberculosis. However, the physicians treating him could not be confirmed about it. It would be possible to know after some tests.
Meanwhile, actor Faruque wants that Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore will conduct the tests. He has already received permission to go to Singapore for treatment.
Seeking blessings of the fans and colleagues, Faruque said, "I'm your man, and want to remain alive with you for a long time. Please, pray for me so that I can return home being recovered."
Earlier on August 18, he was admitted to United Hospital in Dhaka due to fever. However, he tested negative after several coronavirus tests. After the treatment, he left the hospital on August 26.
As his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to United Hospital again on August 31. His coronavirus test was conducted again, but the result came negative.
Besides, samples for typhoid, dengue and malaria were tested. The results of those tests also came negative. But the physicians became worried as his fever was still persisting.
