 One-year-old drowns in Mymensingh pond A one-year-old child drowned in a pond in Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh on Wednesday morning. Deceased Bayezid was the son of Sultan Ahmed, a resident of Digha village in the upazila. Local sources said the minor boy drowned in a pond near his house this morning when he was playing beside it. Later, his body was retrieved around 10:30 am. He was declared dead by a local doctor. Local UP chairman Shahabul Alam confirmed the matter. |
