Indian Liquor recovered in Chuadanga


Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive recovered 120 bottles of Indian wine at Harihorpur village of Jibannagar upazila  of Chuadanga district early Monday.

Assistant Director of BGB-58 battalion Major Nazrul Islam Khan said acting on a tip-off, a team from Medinipur Camp BGB led by its commander Havildar Shakhawat Hossain conducted a drive in Harihorpur betel leaf garden area around 4 am and recovered  120 bottles of Indian liquor.
 




Nobody was arrested in this connection as the drug traders managed to flee the scene sensing presence of the BGB men.

Later the seized wine was submitted to the Darshana Customs office, Major Nazrul said.
