 Tribunal cancels war criminal Jobayer's bail for violating condition The International Crimes Tribunal on Sunday cancelled the bail of war criminal Jubayer Manir for violating the bail condition. Tribunal chairman Justice Shahinur Islam passed the order. It also ordered to send him jail. The tribunal passed the order after hearing on the petition filed by state lawyer prosecutor Jeyad Al Malum seeking cancellation of the bail. In the petition, he said the tribunal earlier granted Jobayer the bail on a condition that he will stay in his Dhaka house when he is on bail. But he violated it and went out for navigator in his village Daulatpur under Sullah upazila of Sunamganj where he was moving with criminals. Police arrested six people including Jubayer on December 20, 2018, in a case filed by freedom fighter Rajani Das. TF |
