NSU holds webinar on ‘Digital Bangladesh: Technology for Covid-19 Response’

North South University (NSU) in collaboration with Center for Infrastructure Research and Services and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering jointly organized a webinar on 'Digital Bangladesh: Technology for COVID-19 Response' on Tuesday.
NSU Board of Trustees chairman M A Kashem was present as the distinguished guest with Vice-Chancellor Prof Atiqul Islam in the chair.
M A Kashem in his speech said the fourth industrial revolution will come, we have to learn the best use of technology to keep pace with this revolution. He asked the students to keep their mind strong and not lose heart.
Prof Atiqul Islam said, “About 1.5 billion students around the world have been affected by corona virus disrupting their normal lives. All the universities around the world are going online for taking classes”.
North South University is successfully taking more than 3,000 online classes per week and attendance at these online classes is 93% which is higher than usual, he said.

Dr Javed Bari, Dr. Md. Sirajul Islam and Dr Mohammad Rezaul Bari, among others, spoke.
