Man dies from snake bite in Lakshmipur

A man died from snake bite at Kamalnagar Upazila of Laxmipur on Tuesday afternoon.

Deceased Akbar Ali, 27, was the son of Nur Muhammad, a resident of Chak Bazar area in the upazila.

Char Kadira UP member Harunur Rashid said a venomous snake bit him in the afternoon when he was working in a paddy field near house.

He was rushed Noakhali General Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
