Govt offices, banks, courts reopen Monday after Eid holiday

All the government and semi-government offices will reopen on Monday following the end of a three-day holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha on Sunday.

Besides, courts, banks, insurance companies and share markets will reopen on Monday.
The three-day Eid-ul-Azha holiday began on Friday, while the Eid was celebrated on Saturday. Sunday was the last day of Eid holiday.

Though the offices will reopen on Monday, the presence of officials and employees will be less, because many of them went their village homes taking additional leave of absence.

However, those who have celebrated Eid in Dhaka will join the work.

Most of the officers and employees will remain busy to exchange pleasantries on their first working day at the office following Eid holidays.
