Last respect poured in for Andrew Kishore

People from all walks of life paid their last respect to celebrated playback singer Andrew Kishore on Wednesday.

The body was kept at a local Church in Rajshahi city from 9am-10am where people placed wreaths to pay tributes for the noted singer.

Later, he will be laid to rest beside his father-mother's grave at Christian cemetery at Sreerampur area of the city.

The renowned singer died on July 6 at his sister's clinic in Rajshahi city at the age of 64.

Along with cancer, he had been suffering from kidney and hormone-related issues.

Andrew Kishore had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of cancer that originates in the lymphatic system in a Singapore hospital in September last year. He received several chemotherapy and radiotherapy there.
