Jubo League leader with phensedyl syrups in Rajshahi
A local Jubo Legaue leader has been arrested with 17 bottles phensedyl from Mohanpur upazila in Rajshahi city.
The arrested is Aminul Islam, 42, president of Ward No.10 unit Jubo League president. He is a resident of Hetemkha area in the city.
Acting on a tip-off, a team led by Mohanpur Police Station sub-inspector Raju Ahmed conducted a drive at Dhupaghat Bazar at 1.20 am and arrested him with phensedyl syrups.
A case has been filed with the police station in this connection.
The police station OC Mostaq Ahmed confirmed the matter. Police arrested Aminul while he was selling phensedyl syrups, added the OC.
Aminul was sent to jail following a court order on Tuesday.
