Police have rescued a three-year-old child from Shibchar upazila in Madaripur district two days after his kidnapping by a tenant in Gazipur.
Shibchar Police Station handed over the child to his family on Friday.
According to police, Sajeda Akter, wife of Greece expatriate Abdul Quader, lives with his son Abdullah at his house in Gazipur's Gasa Police Station area.
On Tuesday, a woman rented a house at Sajeda’s building and developed a very good relation with her within a short time.

The victim's mother on that lodged a complaint with Gasa Police Station in that connection.
Members of RAB and police launched manhunt following the complaint and kidnappers were changing their position randomly.
On Thursday evening, police saw the baby crying at Kanthalbari Ghat and rescued him from there.
Shibchar Police Station OC Abul Kalam Azad said they saw mobile number inscribed on the boy’s dress and phoned his guardian.
Family members of the victim went to the police station in the morning and received the boy.
Police said operation is on to arrest the kidnappers.
Parvin Akter, aunt of the victim, said kidnappers in guise of tenants kidnapped her nephew. “Police on Thursday night phoned us and informed that he was rescued,” she added.
