EPI centres taken different initiatives for vaccination
55 more virus deaths reported in country

Fifty-five more deaths from COVID-19 and 3,027 fresh cases were reported in Bangladesh in last 24 hours.
Now, the death tally reached 2,151 while the confirmed cases rose to 1,68,645.
Additional Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Nasima Sultana on Tuesday said that 3,027 new coronavirus cases were detected after testing 13,173 samples at 74 labs in the past 24 hours.
The EPI centres have already taken different initiatives to implement and continue their vaccination programme. As a result, people's gathering were seen at the centres. The DGHS urged all to come to the centres to receive the services.
It also informed that all vaccination centres across the country are conducting their activities maintaining health guidelines.
During this time, 1,953 more virus patients have recovered, raising the total recovery number to 78,102.
The country's death rate is 1.28 per cent and the infection rate os 22.47 per cent.
Of the deceased, 46 were men and nine women. Of them 27 were from Dhaka, 12 from Chattogram, seven from Khulna, two each from Barishal, Rajshahi, Sylhet and Rangpur, and one from Mymensingh divisions.
Another one laboratory has been set up in Dhaka for COVID-19 test, Dr Nasima added.
