Bullet-hit body of missing youth found at Lalmonirhat border


The body of a youth who had been missing for five days was recovered from the zero point of Patgram bordering area in Lalmonirhat on Sunday, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Tariqul Islam, 28, son of Azizul Islam of Burimari in the upazila.
Tariqul went missing five days ago when he went to a local bazar and did not return home, said his family members.

Later on Sunday, members of police and Border Guard Bangladesh recovered Tariqul's bullet-hit body from zero point with the help of Border Security Force (BSF) of India, said Officer-in-Charge of Patgram Police Station Mozammel Huque.

Legal action will be taken after investigating into the matter, he said.
