4 physicians, 7 cops among 78 more contract virus in Rajshahi
Some 78 more people including four doctors and seven policemen tested positive for coronavirus in the district, taking the total cases from the virus to 988.
Their samples were tested at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) on Friday.
On this day, samples of 246 people were also tested in two labs, said RMCH's Deputy Director Dr Saiful Ferdous and Prof Dr Sabera Gulnahar, head of the virology department and in-charge of the laboratory.
Of the newly infected, 75 people are under the city corporation area and the rest three are in Durgapur, Charghat and Mohanpur upazilas each.
