2 more physicians die of COVID-19 in Dhaka

2 more physicians die of COVID-19 in Dhaka

Two more physicians died of novel coronavirus in Dhaka at early hours of Wednesday.

Of the dead, one was Dr Golam Sarwar, chief of Pediatric Department of International Medical College, and another was Dr Mohsin Kabir, of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department of Impulse Hospital.

Dr Rahat Anwar Chowdhury, joint secretary of Foundation for Doctors Safety Rights and Responsibilities (FDSR), confirmed the matter.  

He said Dr Golam Sarwar died around 4am at the intensive care unit of Anwar Khan Modern Medical College Hospital while Dr Mohsin died at Impulse Hospital while undergoing treatment.    

With these two, total 57 doctors have, so far, died of COVID-19 in Bangladesh while eight with the virus symptoms.
