Walton stands 5th in NAV in capital market
Net Assets Value (NAV) per share of Walton Hi-Tech Industries (WHIL) secures fifth largest position compared with the listed companies per share net value this year.
Walton's NAV was higher than that of some listed multinational companies like British American Tobacco, Berger Paints, GlaxoSmithKline, Reckitt Benckiser and Grameenphone.
Walton's Earnings Per Share (EPS) is the second highest compared with the listed local companies' last financial year's EPS.
Comparing with the listed companies' EPS disclosed in their previous year's financial statements, the electronics giant's EPS Tk 45.87 was in the top eighth position.
Even, Walton's EPS's was higher than that of some listed multinational companies like Berger Paints and Grameenphone.
According to NAV disclosed by capital market's listed companies in their last financial year's statements, Libra Infusion's NAV of Tk 1,593 was the highest followed by Bata Shoe's NAV of Tk 347.11, Linde BD's NAV at TK 335.70, Apex Footwear NAV at Tk 249.83 and then Walton's NAV Tk 243.16.
