Ex-MP Dr Shahjahan dies of coronavirus

Advocate Dr Shahjahan Ali Talukder, former Jatiya Party MP from Bagura-5, died of coronavirus on Sunday morning.

The 65-year-old politician breathed his last  at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka around 11am.

He left behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Dr Shahjahan tested positive for coronavirus on June 21 and was admitted to the CMH on June 24. He was put on life support in the hospital.





He was elected to the member of parliament in 1988-90 term.
