83 lower court judges, employees test positive for COVID-19

A total of 83 lower court judges and employees have been infected with COVID-19, monitoring desk of Law Ministry confirmed on Saturday.

Of them, 21 are judges and 62 are employees.

Besides, Naogaon judge court office assistant Mahiuddin Mohan died with coronavirus symptoms. His sample report has not come yet.

Of the infected employees, Abdul Bari, Narayanganj judge court office assistant, recovered from the disease while Md Kawsar Miah, an employee of Madaripur judge court, died of the deadly virus.

Earlier in Netrakona district, judge Shahjahan Kabir and Munshiganj Chief Judicial Magistrate Rokeya Rahman joined their services after recovering from the novel corona virus infections.
