Mashrafe contracts coronavirus

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, an MP from Narail-2 constituency and former captain of Bangladesh cricket team, has tested positive for COVID-19.

His personal assistant Jamil Ahmed Sunny confirmed the matter around 3:45 pm on Saturday.

Sunny said Mashrafe Bin Mortaza found coronavirus positive from his first sample test that came today.

His sample will be given again for more confirmation, he added.

Family sources said Mashrafe is undergoing treatment in Dhaka.
