Bangladesh plans to resume flights on international routes

Bangladesh's Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism has planned to resume flights on international routes after observing decisions of international airways.
The ministry also finalised 100 per cent waiver of aviation charges only for domestic airlines and 50 per cent for international airlines till December, to assist airlines with the economic crisis due to coronavirus pandemic.
The decision was taken during a virtual meeting on Wednesday.
State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali and CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshall M Mafidur Rahman attended the meeting, among others.
