Libya killing: 2 human traffickers remanded

A Dhaka court on Wednesday placed two alleged human traffickers on four-day remand each in a case filed with Paltan Police Station.

The two accused are: Mahbubur Rahman and Shahidur Rahman, no 33 and 34 no accused in the ejahar.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tofajjal Hosain passed the order.
Earlier, the Investigation Officer (IO), also Detective Branch (DB) of police inspector Mizanur Rahman, produced them before the court seeking to take the in custody for seven days for interrogation.

On Tuesday night, the CID filed a case against 38 persons including Haji Kamal on charge of trafficking many Bangladeshis including 26 young men who have recently been shot dead in Libya.

CID sub-inspector AHM Abul Fazal filed the case with the city's Paltan Police Station under the human trafficking law.
