Free mango transport service for Rajshahi growers began on Tuesday through 'Zoom Express' of Bangladesh postal Department.
At the instruction of the Prime Minister, Post, Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar inaugurated the special service from Dhaka through video conferencing.
Post and Telecommunications Division Secretary Nur ur Rahman and high officials of the Postal Department were present.
Rajshahi DC M Hamidul Haque joined the programme from the office of Puthia UNO M Oliuzzaman.
The UNO, Rajshahi DAE deputy director Shamsul Haque and officials of the Postal Department were also present at the Rajshahi end.
Under the service, Postal Department trucks will transport produces of small and mediam mango growers at free of cost from Rajshahi to Dhaka.
