The government has allowed the offices of the educational institutions to keep open only for administrative and maintenance works.
The Education Ministry on Monday issued a notification in this regard.
The notification said country's all educational institutions remained closed in order to contain the spread of coronavirus infection and for improvement of the situation, government offices are kept open on a limited scale.
"Under the circumstances, country's all educational institutions can open their offices on a limited scale only for administrative and maintenance works (admission, laboratory, library, machinery maintenance and cleaning). But, sick teachers, officials-employees, pregnant women and vulnerable persons will refrain from attending," it said.
Besides, teachers, officials, employees will have to wear masks under any situation and to follow the health guidelines issued by the Health Ministry/DGHS.
All educational institutions were declared closed on March 17 after the first coronavirus patient was detected in the country on March 8.
