'25% officials to be allowed at Secretariat'

State Minister for Public Administration Md Farhad Hossain has informed that not more than 25 percent officials would be allowed in different ministries and divisions.

Besides, officials are being discouraged to do work in other offices outside the Secretariat if not needed.
The state Minister informed this on Monday while talking to journalists over reopening of offices on a limited scale from May 31.

"Twenty-five per cent officials will be allowed in their Secretariat offices so that they can't get infected by coronavirus. The rest 25 per cent will work online," said Farhad Hossain.

"Eighteen ministries and divisions were open on a limited scale during the general holidays. We have maintained the government instruction on the first day of reopening," he said.

No pass will be issued till June 15 to restrict the entry of visitors, he added.
