Pabna JSD leader dies from coronavirus

A leader of Pabna's Ishwardi upazila Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) has died from coronavirus infection at Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka.

Freedom fighter Golam Mostafa Bacchu, 68, breathed his last on Wednesday night. 

He was admitted to the hospital after he tested positive for the virus. Later, he was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) as  his condition deteriorated.   

A resident of Rahimpur area in the upazila, Bacchu left behind his wife and two sons to mourn his death.

He was buried at Shaheed Buddhijibi Graveyard in Mirpur on Thursday.
