DMCH introduces plasma therapy for corona patients

Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) has started plasma therapy for coronavirus patients.

It will be a new dimension for the COVID-19 patients in Bangladesh like foreign countries.

Firstly, plasma will be collected from two persons who made recovery from the virus infection. Then, its effectiveness will be observed in next six months.

If the result came fruitful, then more patients will be brought under this plasma therapy.
An expert team with seven to eight members has already been formed to observe the effectiveness.

The plasma therapy means an anti-body, made in the body of the recovered person to fight against coronavirus. Then the plasma bearing the anti-body will be collected and it will be applied in the deadly corona infected patient to kill the virus.
