Two coronavirus infected patients who were recovered receiving treatment at Raumari Upazila Health Complex in Kurigarm district returned home on Tuesday after their full recovery from the viral disease.
They are Golam Mostafa, 17, and Nurul Islam, 24.
Upazila health and family planning officer Dr Md Momenul Islam confirmed the matter.
Golam Mostafa fell sick after returning to his home at Datbhanga union from Dhaka on April 11. He then admitted to the health complex and he was tested positive for the virus on April 13.
Nurul Islam came to Khantalbari village from Gazipur district on April 19 and he was found infected with the virus on April 23. Both of them are well now, said the doctor.
They received a warm welcome reception from the hospital authorities.
State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain, upazila parishad chairman Sheikh Abdullah and Dr Md Momenul Islam, among others, were present on the occasion.
