1,846 quarantined in Rangamati

A total of 1,846 people have been quarantined in Rangamati district till Monday. 

Of them, 1342 were released after completing their 14-day quarantine period. 

Rangamati civil surgeon Dr Bipasha Khisa confirmed the matter on Monday.

Samples from 243 people in the district have, so far, been collected till Monday and sent to Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases in Chattogram for coronavirus tests, Dr Bipasha said.

Reports of 179 persons have come and none of them were diagnosed with the virus, he added.
